The theme of this year’s Festival is Movies, this is the running order for the weekend

PROGRAMME

Saturday 22nd June

10am               Festival Opens to the Public

10.30am          Parade Assembles at Church Lane car park

11am               Parade departs from Church Lane

11.30/45am     Parade Arrives at Furrowfields Recreation Ground

                         Followed by Fancy Dress Competition Judging

11.30am          Chatteris & Manea Brass Band play as parade arrives & after judging

12.30pm          Army Cadets Corps of Drums

1pm                 Indian Dohl Drummers

1.20pm            Chatteris & Manea Brass Band

2pm                 LL Dance perform Dances Inspired by The Lion King

2.30pm            Future Stars Youth Theatre

3pm                 Dangerous Steve

3.30pm            DJ David Sir Reggae Freestone

4pm                 Dangerous Steve

4.30pm            DJ David ‘Sir Reggae’ Freestone

5pm                 Back Two Singing Duo

5.45pm            Singer & Musician Abi & Aarron

6.30pm            Singer Emma-Louise

6.45pm            DJ set with Laura Dennis

7.15pm            Headlining Band The Gangsters

During the day browse amongst the stalls, enjoy the refreshments and let the youngsters join in the inflatables fun and enjoy the fairground rides.

Sunday 23rd June

10am               Festival Opens to the Public

10am               Registration for Dog Show

10am – 4pm    Animal Experience Tent

10.30am          Dog Show or Children’s Sports (depending on weather)

11am               Registration for Colour Fun Run Opens

12 noon           Warm Up for Colour Fun Run

12.15pm          Colour Fun run Toddlers/Family

12.30pm          Colour Fun Run 4-10 year olds

12.45pm          Colour Fun Run for Everyone aged 11 years and over

1pm-4pm         Strawberry Cream Teas in the Marquee

1.15pm            Tug of War Competition

2pm                 Water Fights

2.30pm            Family Disco with Foam Cannon hosted by Laura Dennis

4.30pm            Event Closes

Entry is £2 per adult on the Saturday and children £1 and £1 for all on the Sunday, re-entry permitted if hand stamped. Unaccompanied children please be prepared to show some form of ID to prove their age (a school pass is satisfactory).

Access to the site is via Furrowfields (the St Stephen’s Drive gate will not be open to the public). Parking is available at Furrowfields car park.

No alcohol or drugs should be brought on the Festival site. Bag searches will be carried out and any alcohol discovered will be confiscated and returned to its owners when they leave the site. Drug taking and dealing will not be tolerated and the police will be called.

With the exception of entry to the Festival, please note Furrowfields Recreation Ground will be closed to the public from Friday 21st June – Monday 24th June inclusive to enable the safe set up and taking down of equipment. Alternative recreation facilities are available.
